How do I inspect a fire extinguisher

If you are a business owner then you need to be looking at your extinguishers on a monthly basis to make sure that your gauge is still reading in the green.
As far as your annual inspection, you must be a licensed professional to be able to do that and what we do is we look to make sure that there isn’t any damage or rust to the canister, make sure that the gauge is still reading and in the green. If it passes inspection, then we add an inspection tag on the fire extinguisher and then you are good to go until the next year.
